Laxmi Tools

Laxmi Tools is just a regular shop on M I Road, right in the main market. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people walking by every minute. We’ve been here at this spot for quite a long time now. The shop isn’t anything fancy to look at. We have shelves lined with all sorts of metal things, from heavy wrenches to boxes of screws and different types of power tools. Most days start with opening the shutter and dusting off the counters because the road outside brings in a lot of dirt. We usually drink our first tea while looking at what needs to be restocked. People come in looking for something specific for a repair job at home or for their own small workshops. Sometimes we have what they need right away, and other times we have to dig through the back piles to find it. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps us cool enough when the sun is out. It's a simple life here. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks find us just by walking through the market or because they’ve been coming here for years. The floor is concrete and has some scuffs from moving heavy crates around. We just try to keep things organized enough so we can find the right size of drill bit when someone asks. It gets really loud around noon when the market is in full swing.
