Our office is in Tirupati Tower, right at the B-7 spot. If you’re familiar with the Main Khatipura Circle, you know how hectic it can get with all the cars and bikes going every which way. Being on the ground floor or near the circle means we see a lot of the daily chaos. I’ve been working out of this tower for a while now. The space is a bit cramped once you get a couple of drivers and a customer inside, but it’s enough for what we need. I usually have the radio playing in the background while I wait for the phone to ring. We mostly help folks around Khatipura and the nearby areas get where they need to go. It’s not like those big corporate travel agencies you see on TV. We’re just local people. I spend a lot of time on my mobile, checking where the cars are and if they’ve run into any trouble on the highway. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking chai, and other days it feels like everyone in Jaipur wants a ride at the same time. My desk is usually a mess of receipts and old newspapers, but I know where everything is. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just provide cars and try to make sure they show up on time.
