Our spot is at 72 and 73 in Jagganath Puri, right off Shyopur Road in Sanganer. It’s a busy spot and there is always a bit of dust in the air from the road and the local construction going on. We spend most of our hours trying to coordinate different crews and making sure the trucks get to the right place at the right time. Sanganer has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. The office isn’t much to look at, just a place to keep the files and meet with the guys before they head out to the sites. We do a lot of walking around and checking on things ourselves because you can't see everything from a desk. It’s a lot of phone calls to suppliers and trying to figure out why the sand hasn't arrived yet. Sometimes we stay late into the evening when a deadline is coming up. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things for us. It’s just a few of us making sure the projects get built properly. We know the local area well and we know which builders are doing good work. It’s a practical business, really. We deal with the dirt and the concrete and the heat every single day. That is just how it is for us here in Sanganer, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
