K.K Royal Days, Jaipur

Our place is located at 168A, Tonk Phathak in the Barkat Nagar area of Jaipur. K.K Royal Days is a small operation. We mostly handle rooms and help people who are staying in this part of the city. It’s a lived-in kind of place. The walls might need a bit of paint here and there, but we keep it clean. Most of our day is spent checking people in or making sure the linens are washed and dried. Barkat Nagar is a busy neighborhood, so there is always noise from the street outside. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit and wait for guests. It’s not a five-star hotel with a bunch of staff in uniforms. It’s just a few of us doing the chores. We talk to the guests about where they can find a good meal nearby or which bus to take to get to the main market. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we have to find the flashlights and check on everyone. It’s just the normal way of living and working here. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the doors every morning and take care of whoever shows up at the gate. If someone needs an extra blanket or a towel, they just come and ask us at the desk. We keep things pretty simple around here for everyone.
