Kitchen King

Our shop, Kitchen King, is situated on the 80 Feet Road in Mahesh Nagar. It is a place where you will find just about anything you need for a kitchen. We have stacks of stainless steel pots, different sizes of pressure cookers, and all kinds of spoons and ladles hanging from the ceiling. The 80 Feet Road is a wide one, so people find it easy to park and come in to browse. It gets quite noisy with the traffic outside, but inside we are usually busy showing someone how a new mixer grinder works or explaining why their gas stove burner is flickering. We have been here for a while and have seen many families come in to set up their first homes. It’s a bit of a squeeze walking through the aisles sometimes because we like to keep a lot of stock on hand. You never know when someone will come in asking for a specific type of tawa or a heavy-duty blender. We don't have any big sales pitches. If a pot is good and heavy, we say so. If a brand has better service parts, we tell the customer that too. It’s mostly just me and my nephew running the place. We start our day by dusting off all the steel because the road dust settles on everything. It’s a steady business and we enjoy talking to the local residents who stop by.
