Kitchen Gallery

We’ve been here in C Scheme at Mahesh Nagar R 8 A for a good while now. The shop, Kitchen Gallery, is basically exactly what it says on the sign. We handle all sorts of kitchen items and stuff like that. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they need a new stove or maybe just a few utensils because their old ones finally wore out or broke. It stays pretty busy on this side of town, especially in the early mornings when everyone is out doing their errands. I usually open up the shutters early and start setting things out on the shelves. It’s not a huge place, but we keep it packed with everything we can fit. If you walk past R 8 A, you’ll see us right there near the corner. We deal with a lot of regular faces who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes people just come in to look at the new chimneys or hobs we got in. It’s mostly just us working here every day, making sure everything is in the right spot. The shelves get a bit dusty with the local traffic and the wind, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things off. It's just a normal shop really. We don’t do anything fancy or use big words, just sell what people need for their daily cooking. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to move heavy boxes around the back. It’s part of the routine. The sun hits the front glass every afternoon.
