Down in the Sitapura Industrial Area, things are always moving. Our spot is on Tonk Road, at number 4, and it is a pretty dusty place to be most days. We spend our time managing the water supply for the factories and offices around here. It is a lot of logistics, making sure the tankers are full and the drivers know where they are going. The sun beats down on the yard all day, and there isn't much shade unless you are sitting inside the small office room. We have been operating from this part of Sitapura because that is where the demand is. People need water for everything, and we are just the ones who make sure it gets there. The sound of heavy engines and the smell of diesel are just part of our daily life. It is not the kind of work where you wear a suit; we are usually in dusty clothes and heavy boots. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the gauges on the tanks. When the rainy season comes, the ground gets muddy and everything takes twice as long, but we keep at it. It is a tough business, but it is what we know how to do. We don't have fancy brochures or any of that, just our trucks and a reputation for showing up when we say we will. We have some regular customers who have been with us for years, and they just call us on the mobile when they are running low.
