Akash Construction

Akash Construction operates out of our space at 656-B in Vivek Vihar, right on Laxman Path in Shyam Nagar. It’s more of a working office than a big corporate building. Most of our time isn't spent sitting here anyway; we’re usually out at different sites seeing how the walls are coming up or checking if the cement and bricks arrived on time. We deal with the day-to-day headaches of building things—getting the right quality of sand, making sure the levels are straight, and talking to the laborers about the plan. There’s always a pile of blueprints or rough sketches on the table here. People come to us when they want to add a room or fix up an old house that’s seen better days. We don’t have a big sales team; it’s just us talking to the owners and trying to figure out what works for their budget and their family. Sometimes things get delayed because of the monsoon or because a supplier didn't show up, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. It's a lot of phone calls and dusty boots at the end of the day. Shyam Nagar is a nice area, quite residential and calm, so we try to keep our noise down when we are working in the office. We’ve built a few places around here and it’s always good to see families moving into them. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the job right so things last.
