Brij Vatika

You can find us right on the 80 Feet Road in Mahesh Nagar. Brij Vatika is one of those places that’s been part of the local neighborhood landscape for a long time now. It’s mostly an open space that we keep for various community gatherings and functions. We spend a lot of our time keeping the plants alive and making sure the ground is swept and clean for guests. It's quite a lot of physical work, especially when the weather gets very dry and dusty like it does here. There isn't much of an office to speak of, just a small room in the corner where we keep the registers and some basic tools. People come to us for all sorts of local events, from small parties to bigger family get-togethers. We see a lot of different families coming through the gates, which is one of the nicer parts of the job. It gets very loud during some of the functions, but the neighbors around here are mostly used to it by now. The 80 Feet Road is a busy stretch of tarmac, so there is always a bit of noise from the traffic passing by. We don't have a big team of staff, just a few of us who manage the daily tasks that need doing. Sometimes we have to stay quite late at night to finish cleaning up after a group finally leaves. It’s just honest physical work, nothing too complicated or fancy. We like being here.
