We have been here at Jhotwara Shantipath Scheme No 21 for quite some time now. Most people know us because we are right on South Niwaru Road, which gets pretty busy during the morning rush. The shop itself is not very big, but we keep things organized as much as possible. It is mostly me and a couple of others handling everything from the paperwork to the actual heavy lifting. When the weather gets hot in Jaipur, the cooler inside the office is a lifesaver. We usually start our day by cleaning off the dust that blows in from the main road. It is just a regular routine of checking what came in and what needs to go out. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. People just stop by when they are passing through the area. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage just fine. There is a small tea stall nearby where we get our morning chai, and that is usually how we kick things off. The building has been here for years, and we have just become part of the neighborhood. We handle the daily tasks as they come, whether it is answering the phone or moving stock around. It is not always exciting, but it is honest work and it keeps us busy from ten until seven. Most of our neighbors are friendly, and we all kind of look out for each other on this stretch of Niwaru Road.
