Chinaware Sales Corporation

Our place is tucked away in Gangotri Garden Lane 493, which is just off the Gopalpura Byepass near Surya Nagark. Chinaware Sales Corporation is mostly about stacks and stacks of ceramics. You have to be careful walking through the aisles because there is not much room to spare. It smells a bit like cardboard and clay in here most of the time. We start around ten in the morning and the first thing we do is check if anything got chipped during the night. The lane outside is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everything else has to stop. It can be a bit of a puzzle getting things in and out. We use a lot of bubble wrap and old newspapers to keep things safe. It is just the few of us here, and we usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with the inventory to worry about that right now. People from the surrounding colonies usually find us by word of mouth. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the work is manual, lifting crates and showing people the different patterns we have on the shelves. It is a slow, steady kind of business and we like it that way. There is no rush, we just make sure we do things right.
