Khandelwal Iron & Steel Company

Khandelwal Iron & Steel Company is located on Vivekananda Marg, right in the heart of the main market. We are very close to the Hanuman Temple, so there are always people walking by our front door. Our shop is filled with all kinds of iron and steel products like rods, angles, and sheets. It is a heavy business and the work is physically demanding. We don't have fancy displays or a modern office. Everything is stacked up high, and the shop feels a bit small because of all the metal. We use old ledgers to keep track of our sales and write things down by hand. It is how we have always done things. The market is very loud with vendors shouting and bikes honking, but we don't mind it much. Many of our customers have been coming to us for decades. We know their families and they know ours. We don't use any marketing tricks or try to sound like a big company. We are just a local business trying to provide what people need for their construction or repairs. Sometimes we run out of certain sizes, and we have to tell people to come back next week. It isn't perfect, but we do our best to get things right. The tea stalls nearby keep us going during the long afternoons. It is a simple, busy life here in the market, and we are happy with it.
