We've been around the Shastri Nagar area for a bit now, specifically over at House No. 1020 near the 9 Dukan spot in Ram Nagar. It’s a busy part of Jaipur, always something going on in the streets outside our door. My name is on the registration but we're mostly just a small group of people working on shirts every day. It started because we liked the idea of making something wearable right here in town. The workshop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the cutting and stitching done. We spend most of our mornings checking fabric rolls and making sure the buttons are on right. Jaipur has a lot of history with clothes, so we try to keep that going in our own small way. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a big order comes in, and the space feels a bit small with all the boxes stacked up against the walls. We aren't trying to be some huge international brand or anything like that. We just want to make shirts that people around here actually want to wear to work or out on the weekend. You can usually find one of us hanging around the shop near the 302016 area. It's a lot of work, and some days are definitely better than others, but that's just how it goes when you're running a local business. We keep the doors open, drink our chai, and just keep at it.
