Our office is G-1 in Mahadev Nagar, right on Gandhi Path in Vaishali Nagar. It is a ground floor space which makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street. Vaishali Nagar is a busy area, but our little corner in Mahadev Nagar is slightly tucked away from the heaviest traffic. We have got a few desks and a map of India on the wall that is a bit out of date, but we keep it because it looks okay. At Journerys 2 India, we handle all sorts of travel plans for people coming into the country or locals going out. It is just three of us working here on a daily basis. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work on different itineraries. Sometimes the tea man from down the street brings us some chai and we take a quick break. We do not really do the whole corporate thing with suits and formal meetings. We just wear regular clothes and talk to people like they are our neighbors. Gandhi Path has everything we need nearby, so it is a convenient spot for us to be. We get a lot of walk-ins who are just curious about what we do. We try to be helpful and explain things simply. The office can get a bit messy with brochures, but we like it. (247 words)
