Tailor 9

You can find us at S-9 in Kanha Plaza. We are right near Brijbal School in Jhotwara. It gets really busy around here when school lets out. The kids are everywhere and it’s quite noisy. We’ve been running Tailor 9 from this small shop for a bit. There’s always fabric scraps on the floor. We try to keep it tidy, but when you're busy, it’s hard. We have a few machines and they make a lot of noise throughout the day. People from the neighborhood drop by to talk or drop off items. It’s a small space, so things get cramped quickly. Jhotwara is a fast-growing area, so we see a lot of new faces lately. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the one on the door. Sometimes the lights flicker when the plaza has issues. We just keep working through it. It’s a simple life. We spend most of our time measuring and cutting. The afternoon sun hits the front window, so we usually keep the curtain half-closed. It’s not a high-end boutique or anything. It’s just a local tailoring shop where we do our best to stay on top of the pile of clothes. We know most of the other shop owners in Kanha Plaza. We’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the furniture. It’s just a regular day-to-day business. We mostly just keep to ourselves and do the stitching.
