Jewels & Tools is basically a small shop tucked away at 307, Vardhman in Johri Bazar. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded with people looking for jewelry. We aren’t one of those fancy showrooms with bright lights. Our place is more about the work that goes into making the jewelry. We keep a lot of tools here, like small pliers, files, and magnifying glasses. The shelves are pretty packed and it’s not always the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. I’ve been working here for a long time, and the building at 307 has become like a second home. We get a lot of local craftsmen coming in. They don’t want a sales pitch; they just want a tool that won't break. We talk a bit, show them what we have, and they go on their way. It’s a simple way of doing things. Johri Bazar is loud and can be a bit overwhelming, but once you step inside our spot at Vardhman, it’s just about the tools. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us helping out the regulars. We focus on being practical. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the tools are good, and that’s what actually matters to the people who buy from us. We’re just here every day, doing our bit and keeping the shop open for whoever needs us.
