J. N. B. Garments

Over at A-121 in Janta Colony, you’ll find J. N. B. Garments. It’s a residential-style area that has a lot of small businesses tucked away in the different blocks. We’ve been in this particular spot for quite some time, and it feels more like a home than a traditional office. The front room is where we keep the finished garments, and the back is where all the cutting and stitching happens. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a big order to finish, but we make it work by using every table and chair we have. We don't have a fancy storefront with glass windows; it's more of a walk-in setup where people from the colony can come and see what we are working on. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some good lamps over the workbenches so we can see the small details. We mostly focus on just getting the clothes made and sent out to the people who ordered them. There isn't much time for anything else. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during our lunch break just to get some fresh air and watch the cars go by. It’s a modest way to run a business, but it suits us just fine and we’ve built some good relationships with the people around here. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy with the work.
