Jaipur Emporium

Jaipur Emporium is over at Khetan Bhawan on M.I. Road. M.I. Road is one of the busiest streets you’ll find, and we’ve been part of it for quite a while now. Our shop is inside Khetan Bhawan, and it’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup compared to the newer stores. We don't have those bright, clinical lights or minimalist displays. Instead, we have wooden shelves and counters that have seen a lot of years and thousands of customers. It’s a bit crowded in there because we try to keep a lot of different items on hand for people to see. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific thing without asking one of us to dig it out from the back. We spend our days talking to people who wander in off the street, whether they are locals or tourists. It’s a lot of chatting and showing people what we have in stock. We don't have any formal sales training or scripts that we follow. We just talk to folks like normal people and try to be helpful. The building itself is an older one, so it has its own quirks, like floors that aren't perfectly level and walls that have been painted over many times. We like the energy of M.I. Road, even with all the constant honking and the crowds outside the front door. It’s a lively place to spend the day. We don't really have a big corporate plan or a fancy vision. We just open up in the morning and do our best to help our customers.
