Jai Ganesh Metal

Jai Ganesh Metal is situated in the Sudarshanpura Industrial Area at unit E 58. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is a constant hum of engines and machinery all around us. Our space at E 58 is pretty much dedicated to metalwork. We have piles of different alloys and pieces of steel waiting to be processed. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of oil or metal shavings on it, no matter how much we clean. We have a few big machines that take up most of the room, so we have to move carefully when we are carrying things around. The air in Sudarshanpura can be a bit heavy with the smell of welding and exhaust, but you get used to it after the first week. We aren't here to make things look pretty; we are here to work. Most of our day is spent at the machines or checking the quality of what we just finished. We have a small corner where we keep our lunch boxes and a water cooler. It’s a simple setup. We know the other shop owners on our row, and we sometimes borrow tools from each other if something breaks down. Jai Ganesh Metal is just a place where we put in the hours and get the metal ready for whoever needs it. There isn't much more to it than that, just daily work in the heat. We usually head home once the shift is officially over.
