We organize group trips for people who want to go on religious yatras. Our office is located at 200 Tonk Road in the Taru Chaya Nagar area. It is a plain office with some posters of holy sites on the walls to show where we go. This business was started by my father and I have been running it for many years now. Most of the people who travel with us are older and want to visit temples across the country. We take care of the bus bookings and find places for everyone to stay. It is not a luxury travel service. It is more about the journey and the prayers. We spend a lot of time on the telephone talking to guest houses and drivers. Sometimes things do not go as planned, like a bus breaking down, and we have to figure it out quickly. We know the roads well because we have traveled them ourselves many times. People often come into the office just to sit and talk about their travel plans. We drink tea and look at the dates on the calendar together. It is a very personal way of doing things. We do not use the internet much for our bookings. We prefer dealing with people we know. Taru Chaya Nagar is a nice place to be. We just want to help people get where they need to go.
