Indigo Holidays

It’s a bit of a climb to get to the mezzanine floor here at M I Road, but we’ve been at this spot for a while now. Indigo Holidays isn't a big flashy place with a lot of staff. Mostly it’s just us handling the phones and trying to get things sorted for people who want to go somewhere new. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking dates. Some days are busier than others. Usually, you’ll find one of us drinking tea and staring at a computer screen. People drop in because they’re walking past on D-5A. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a bit of paint, and the filing cabinet is jammed, but it works for us. We just sit here and deal with the paperwork that comes with travel. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to navigate the booking systems. It’s honest work. We try to keep things simple because travel is already complicated enough for most folks. If you’re around M I Road, you can just walk up. We’re usually here until the evening. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they saw the sign while heading to work. We have an old calendar on the wall that hasn't been changed in months, and a small window that doesn't show much, but it’s home for us.
