Hawa Mahal Gas Agency-Indane

Our agency is tucked away at number 9, Uniyaro Ka Rasta, right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar. It is a very old and busy part of the city. We handle the distribution of Indane gas cylinders for the families and small shops around here. The office is quite small and usually has a few people waiting to update their blue books or book a refill for their kitchen. There is always a lot of clanking noise from the cylinders being moved around on the pavement. The streets are very narrow, so our delivery guys have to be really good at navigating their carts through the crowds and cows. It’s a lot of logistical work, keeping track of who needs what and when the next supply truck is arriving from the bottling plant. We have been operating from this same spot for a long time. The walls have some old calendars and safety posters that have been there for years. We don't have fancy furniture, just some simple wooden benches for customers to sit on while they wait. It gets very busy in the mornings when everyone realizes they are out of gas for their cooking. We just try to keep the records straight and get the cylinders delivered as fast as the traffic and narrow lanes allow us. It’s a basic service but everyone needs it to keep their home running.
