Harshiddi Steel Center

Our place, Harshiddi Steel Center, is at No. 86 in the New Loha Mandi. We are specifically in the 2nd Gali. Being in the second lane makes it a little bit quieter than the main road but not by much. You still hear the cranes and the hammers going all day long. The lane is narrow, so when a big truck comes through, everyone has to move out of the way. We have been in this spot for some years now. The office is small and the walls have some cracks here and there, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We mostly deal with the same people day in and day out. It is the kind of place where you know your neighbors and their families. We keep a few chairs out front for when people stop by to talk business or just catch up on the Mandi news. It gets quite dusty in the summer months so we are always wiping down the desks and the files. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big goals written on the walls. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and that we are being fair with everyone who walks through the door. It is not always easy work but it is what we know. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all again the next day, just like everyone else around here.
