Hampus Infrastructure Private Limited is tucked away at Unit No. 679 in Rasta Jat Ka Kuwan, which is right by Chandpole Bazar in Jaipur. If you know that part of the city, you know how hectic it can be. The old market area is always full of people, carts, and bikes. It’s a loud place, but there is a lot of life in it. Our office is right in the thick of it. Sometimes the noise from the bazar comes right through the walls, but you get used to it after a week or two. We work on infrastructure stuff, which is funny considering how narrow and old the streets are around us. Getting to work every morning is an adventure through the traffic of 302001. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a functional unit where we sit and figure out the logistics for our projects. Chandpole is one of those places where everyone knows everyone. We’ve had some long days here, especially when a project is hitting a deadline. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves the purpose. We don’t see much point in spending money on expensive decor when there is real work to be done out in the field. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of grit in the heart of Jaipur.
