Our little office is tucked away in Axis Mall, right there on Bhagwan Das Road in C Scheme. If you know the mall, we are at B 7. It’s a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but it’s quiet enough for us to get things done. Most of the time, the desk is covered in printed itineraries and scraps of paper where I’ve scribbled down flight times or hotel names. It’s not one of those big, shiny travel agencies you see on TV. It’s just us and a couple of computers that sometimes run a bit slow when the internet is acting up. We spend our mornings looking at maps and trying to piece together routes that make sense for people. C Scheme is a busy area, so getting here can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but once you’re inside the mall, it’s okay. We don't really do the whole hard sell thing. If someone wants to go somewhere, we just look up the prices and see what the schedule looks like. Sometimes people just stop by to ask about passport rules or how the weather is in a certain place. We keep some old brochures around, though most things are online now. It feels like a regular job, honestly. We drink a lot of chai and wait for the printers to finish. It’s a steady way to spend the day.
