It’s a small shop, Gujarat Travels, but it fits what we need for the day. We spend most of the morning and afternoon right here. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s a highlight. It gets pretty dusty out there on the main road, but we keep the shop tidy enough. It’s a convenient spot because of the landmarks. Most people know where the Maharani Palace is, so telling them we are near there helps. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some paperwork, and us. We deal with the usual daily stuff that comes with running a travel place in a busy city like Jaipur. You can see the metro pillar right outside our door. It’s a very local vibe here. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren't. Just a shop on a busy street where work happens every day. It is just part of the local scene here in Jaipur.
