Gromet India is based out of Plot No-04K5C in the Khatipura Scheme in Jaipur. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city center, but it’s a good location once you’re here. The office is pretty basic, just like the others in this area. We have our files, some computers, and a space to meet if someone comes by. Jaipur can be really dusty and hot, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay comfortable while we work. We handle various industrial-type projects and services. It’s not the kind of work that gets a lot of glory, but it’s necessary. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. We know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the road. It’s a very typical way of doing things in Rajasthan. We don’t have any big mission statements on the walls. We just know what we have to do when we walk through the door every morning. The paperwork can get a bit much sometimes, but we stay on top of it. It’s just us, doing our thing in our corner of Jaipur. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need to explain ourselves to anyone, we just get on with it. Every day is a bit different, but the workload stays fairly steady.
