Radha Shree Creations

Our place, Radha Shree Creations, is located at Plot No. 2 in Indra Nagar. We are quite easy to find since we are right near the Ram Mandir here in Gopalpura. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood most days, which helps when we are trying to get work done. We spend most of our time working on different designs and pieces, mostly textiles and clothing items. The workspace is filled with machines and scraps of fabric because we are always in the middle of some project or another. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who know how to handle the needles and thread. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we have to take a break and sit outside for a bit. The regulars who live nearby often drop in just to say hello or see what new things we’ve finished recently. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or they just see the sign when they are heading to the mandir. It’s a decent way to earn a living, and we enjoy the craft part of it. The tables are always covered in measuring tapes and chalk marks, but that’s just how a real workshop looks when people are actually working.
