Our office is tucked away in G-2 at Tulip Enclave. It’s a decent spot here in Jaipur, and we’ve made ourselves at home. Gold Pinaken Homes LLP is basically just us sitting around desks, talking about housing and how to get things done right. It gets pretty warm in Rajasthan during the summer months, so the AC is usually working overtime. We aren’t really into those big flashy advertisements you see on billboards. Instead, we just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Most of the team has been together for a bit, so we know how each other works, which helps when things get stressful. Sometimes the traffic on the way to the office is a nightmare, but that’s just Jaipur for you. We drink a lot of chai and spend hours on the phone with contractors and suppliers. It’s a lot of coordination. There are days when everything goes smooth and days when nothing seems to fit, but we just keep at it. Being in Tulip Enclave puts us right in the middle of things, which is handy. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit greeting you at the door. It’s just a workspace where we try to figure out the best way to build homes. We like the neighborhood and the people around here. It feels like a real community, which makes coming to work a lot better.
