Gaurav Jain Steel Centre

Gaurav Jain Steel Centre is right in the middle of Tripoliya Bazar at number 113. If you know the bazaar, you know how crowded it gets with all the rickshaws and people buying stuff for their homes. Our shop is full of stainless steel everything. Pots, pans, plates, and big water containers are stacked all the way to the ceiling. It is a bit of a maze inside. We spend the whole day moving heavy stacks of metal around. It is loud because of the banging of steel and all the noise from the street outside. We have been here at 113 for years. It is a family-run kind of thing, nothing formal or corporate. We do not wear uniforms or anything like that. We just help people find the right size of container or a sturdy set of bowls for their kitchen. Sometimes the dust from the market gets in, so we are always wiping things down with a cloth. It is a lot of physical work, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for it in the back. We do not do any fancy sales pitches. We just show the weight and the quality of the steel to whoever asks. People come here because they know we have been in the bazaar for a long time. It is a very traditional way of doing business. The shop is old and the floor is a bit uneven, but it works.
