Garima Castings

Our place, Garima Castings, is located at E-322(A) on Road No. 16 in the Vishwakarma Indl. Area. We’re right there among all the other factories and workshops. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but that’s to be expected when everyone is making something. We spend our days dealing with molten metal and sand molds. The floor is usually covered in a layer of fine dust, and there’s always a smell of hot iron in the air. We’ve got a small crew of workers who know exactly what they’re doing. We don't use a lot of high-tech stuff, mostly just the old reliable methods that have worked for us for a long time. The shed is big enough to keep the rain off, but it gets pretty hot in there when the furnace is running. We get deliveries of raw materials throughout the week, and the trucks sometimes struggle to turn in our narrow gate. It’s just part of life on Road No. 16. We don't spend much time in the office unless we have to do the bills or talk to a supplier. Mostly, we are out on the shop floor checking the pieces as they come out of the molds. It’s a basic operation, no bells or whistles, just a lot of sweat and heavy lifting to get the orders out on time. We like the work.
