Gariba Tours

Gariba Tours is over at 17 Station Road, inside the Vanastal Hotel Kanchan Deep building. It is a busy little corner because of the hotel guests coming in and out all day. Our space is just a desk and a few chairs near the lobby area. We talk to a lot of travelers who are just arriving in the city and looking for a way to see the sights. The air in the lobby is usually a bit cooler than outside, which is nice during the summer months. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and writing down notes for the drivers. Station Road is always a bit of a mess with the rickshaws and the buses, so we hear a lot of noise through the glass. It is not a big corporate setup. It is just a small operation helping people move around. We have a few regular drivers who have worked with us for a long time. They usually hang around the entrance waiting for their names to be called. We drink a lot of coffee from the hotel kitchen to keep our energy up. Sometimes it gets crowded when a big group arrives at once, but we manage to get everyone sorted eventually. It is a simple job in a very busy part of the city. We just handle the bookings and try to stay organized among the bags.
