Garg Steel Re-Rolling Mill

Our mill, Garg Steel Re-Rolling Mill, is situated at G-441 J on Road Number 13, near Imliwala Phatak. It is a large, industrial space where we take steel and roll it out into different sections. It’s a loud place with the sound of heavy machinery running most of the day. You can’t really hear yourself think when the machines are at full speed. We have been operating out of this location for a good number of years now. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, as there is always a lot of soot and iron dust floating around. We have a crew of men who know exactly how to handle the hot metal safely. The trucks are constantly coming and going, bringing in raw billets or taking away the finished steel to construction sites. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; it’s just a simple cabin where we keep the logbooks and take our lunch breaks. Dealing with steel is tough work and it really wears you out by the end of the shift. We focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the orders are ready on time. There aren't any big speeches or corporate values here. We just show up, start the furnaces, and get the steel moving. It is a very basic, hardworking kind of life on Road Number 13, and we do it every day of the week.
