Forwear Fashion Exports Private Limited is located at number 119 in Padmawati Colony-I. This is a residential area that has a lot of small businesses mixed in with the houses. It is a fairly quiet street compared to the big main roads in Jaipur. Our setup is inside a house that we converted for our use a long time ago. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed and less like a factory. We don't have a big lobby or a sign-in desk. You just walk in and you're in the middle of where all the work happens. We have a small staff and most of them live just a few streets away from here. It’s nice because we don't have to deal with long commutes in the morning. We spend our time looking at designs and checking the quality of what we are sending out to the ports. There are always stacks of cardboard cartons ready for export sitting near the front door. We have to be careful not to block the walkway for the neighbors. Sometimes the local kids play out front while we are working on the packing. It’s a very local, neighborhood feel. We don't use any fancy management software or computers for everything. We mostly just use paper notebooks and talk to each other to get things done. It’s been our home for a while now. We like the pace of life here in Padmawati Colony. It’s not too fast, and we can focus on doing things right.
