Ekta Fashions

Ekta Fashions is based at E-359 in Bank Colony, over in the Muralipura Scheme. It’s a bit more of a residential feel around here than the big market areas. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except for the occasional delivery truck or the neighborhood dogs making noise. We use the space to keep our stock and handle our daily fashion business. It isn't a flashy setup with big neon signs. We just have our work area and shelves filled with different items we've collected. Most of the work involves checking the quality of the pieces we get and making sure the orders are packed correctly for the customers. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We’re just local people doing a job we understand well. Sometimes the shipments are late or we run out of a certain color, and we just have to deal with it and move on. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving things around and keeping the place tidy. The shop has a very lived-in feel to it. We have our favorite spots for tea in the afternoon and we know all the neighbors. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve fallen into over the years. We just keep our heads down, focus on the clothes, and try to make sure every day goes as planned without too many problems.
