Easy Metal

Our workshop is located at K/3/7 in the Kartarpura Ind Area. We have been working with metal here for a good number of years now. It is a dusty place with a lot of noise from the machines, but that is just how a metal shop works. We handle all sorts of different jobs depending on what people bring to us. Some days it is just cutting small pieces to size, and other days we are busy with welding big frames. The floor is usually covered in scrap and metal shavings by the end of the shift. We do not have a fancy showroom or a big sign out front. Most people just pull up to the gate and ask if we can fix something or make a specific part for them. It is a practical space for practical work. We have the usual tools, some old and some newer, scattered around the workbenches. The tea stall nearby is where we usually spend our breaks. It gets quite hot in the summer because of the tin roof, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. Working here at K/3/7 is what we know best. We just focus on the metal and getting it right so it fits whatever the customer is building. It is straightforward work. No one wears a suit here, just work clothes that get dirty pretty fast. It is just us doing what we do every day.
