Durga Tour & Travels

Durga Tour & Travels is right in the thick of it at Shop Number-1 in Purana Amer. We are located in the JDA Market along Amer Road. If you are near Subhash Chowk, you have probably passed by us a dozen times without realizing it. It’s a very busy spot because of all the people going up to the fort and the general chaos of the market. Our shop is small but we pack a lot into it. There are usually stacks of brochures and old logs of where our cars have been. We don't have air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in the dust from Amer Road. It is a noisy place to work with all the horns honking and people shouting in the market, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our day talking to tourists and locals who need to get somewhere else in Rajasthan. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us who know the area and know how to manage the drivers. We drink a lot of chai from the stall nearby and keep an eye on the traffic. It’s a simple way of making a living, and we’ve been at this shop in the JDA Market for quite a while now.
