Dragway Nirman Private Limited is situated at 132, B-Block in Modi Nagar. It’s right off the Purani Chungi on Ajmer Road in Jaipur. If you know Jaipur, you know Ajmer Road is one of the busiest places you can be. There is always something happening outside. Our office is in a regular building among other local businesses. We do nirman work, which basically means we are into building and construction stuff. The office is usually a bit of a mess with site plans and samples of tiles or bricks lying around. We don't really have a cleaning crew that comes in every hour to make it look like a hotel. It’s a workspace for people who actually get their hands dirty. We have a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they work fine for us. We spend a lot of time talking to laborers and contractors. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just try to finish the projects we start. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the trucks arrive on time. It can be stressful, but it’s what we do.
