Dewan Converters

If you know Natanio Ka Rasta in Tripoliya Bazar, then you know how narrow the lanes are. Our place is at number 906. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in every wall. Dewan Converters is a small operation. We do work that requires a lot of patience. People often get lost trying to find us the first time because the maps don't always show these small streets correctly. We've been in this building for a long time. The walls are thick and stay cool even when it’s boiling outside. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door. Mostly, we work with local traders who know what we do. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the shouting you hear out on the main road. I usually sit near the window where the light is better. My grandfather started this work, and not much has changed in how we handle the day-to-day tasks. We don't use much technology. A lot of it is done by hand or with old machines that we've kept running for years. It's not about being the fastest. It’s about finishing the day knowing the work was done right. We close early on some days if the work is finished. There’s no rush to stay open just for the sake of it. It’s just us here doing our part every day and watching the world go by.
