Delhi Metal Foundary

Delhi Metal Foundary is located in Ambabari, at A 56. It’s an industrial sort of area, so you can expect a fair amount of noise and dust around here most of the time. Our workshop isn't a place where you'd want to wear your best clothes. It’s hot because of the furnaces and there’s always the smell of cooling metal and grease in the air. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, working with different types of molds and casting various parts. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually pretty dirty by the end of the shift. The floor is made of concrete and stays covered in scraps and tools that we use every day. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come to A 56, you’ll probably find us near the back where the actual pouring happens. It’s loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the machinery. We just focus on getting the shapes right and making sure the metal is set properly. Ambabari is a good place for a foundry because nobody minds the racket we make during the day. We keep to ourselves mostly and just get through the orders we have on the books. It’s a plain, hardworking environment without any extra frills. We like it that way because it’s where we feel most comfortable getting our hands into the work we do.
