Our yard is out in Village Bholapur, right near Kamla Nehru Nagar. If you’re driving down the Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana, you’ll find the turn-off for Jhabewal. That’s where we are. It’s a place filled with the sound of metal and the smell of grease. We deal with steel, so it’s not a clean or quiet job. There are trucks coming in and out, moving heavy loads, and the ground is usually covered in a bit of iron dust. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Most of us are out there on the floor or near the gate. Ludhiana is a city that knows hard work, and we fit right in with that. The village setting means we have a bit more space for the big pieces of steel, but it still feels crowded when a new shipment arrives. We don't have a big website or a team of salespeople. We just provide the steel and talk to the people who need it. It’s a straightforward business. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to work outside, but we manage. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the locals around Bholapur know us as the steel people. It’s a rough and tumble environment, but it’s what we know. That is life here at D C Steels Ltd.
