Down in Nehru Bazar, among all the other metal shops, you’ll find Coimbatore Steel House Private Limited at shop number 1896. This part of the city is famous for its steel and iron, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The shop is filled with all sorts of steel items—plates, jugs, heavy pots, and even some industrial parts. It’s a noisy place because there is always someone moving metal around or tapping on a pipe to check the thickness. The smell of iron is everywhere. We have stacks of stainless steel that reach almost to the ceiling, so you have to be careful when you’re walking through the aisles. It’s a bit of a labyrinth in here.
