Our shop is tucked away in Vivek Vihar Colony, which is a pretty decent spot if you’re trying to avoid the absolute worst of the city noise. We are at Shop No.504 on New Sanganer Road. Sodala has changed a lot since we first started out here. The flyovers and the new roads make it easier to get around, but it still feels like a neighborhood where everyone knows each other. I usually get to the office around ten in the morning, unless I had to drop a car off somewhere earlier. It’s a basic setup inside. We have some old files, a computer that’s a bit slow, and plenty of water for anyone who walks in out of the heat. Most of our work comes from people nearby who need a ride to the station or maybe a longer trip out of town. We don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually does the job for us. My brother handles the car maintenance mostly, making sure the tires are good and the oil is changed. It gets really dusty in the summer, so we’re always wiping down the desks. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Jaipur, just a reliable place where you can find a car when you need one. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of who is where. Sometimes it’s stressful, but it's what we know how to do.
