We are located out in Phulera, in the Badhal village area. Our place is right in the Khaldi Market. It’s much quieter here than in the big cities, but on market days, it gets plenty busy with folks from the surrounding farms. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time now. The shop is simple, mostly just a place to store what people need for their daily work. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People know where we are. Usually, the day starts with sweeping the front and greeting the neighbors. We sell various supplies that the locals need. Often, people stop by just to chat for a bit before they go on with their chores. It’s a lot of talk about the weather and how the crops are doing this season. The building itself is old and has its quirks, like the door that sticks when it rains. We don't mind. It’s home. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we still use paper notebooks and pens to keep track of things. It works fine for us. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the truck to come in from the city, which can take a few days. Life moves a bit slower here, and we like it that way. We just provide what we can to our neighbors and keep the business going every day. It's a modest life but we are satisfied with it.
