Mukesh Fashions

We have been here at Mukesh Fashions for quite a long time now, right near the Reserve Police Line on Station Road. It is a very busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing past to catch their trains or get to their jobs. Our shop isn't anything fancy or modern, just a regular place where we keep our stock and talk to the people who walk in. The police line is a good landmark for us because everyone in this part of town knows exactly where it is. Sometimes the traffic on Station Road gets a bit loud with all the horns, but you get used to it after a few years of working here. We spend most of our day organizing the clothes and making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. It is mostly just me and a couple of others helping out. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here near the station. Sometimes the dust from the road comes inside when the wind blows, so we have to clean the glass counters pretty often to keep things looking okay. It is a simple life running a business in this part of the neighborhood. We see the same faces every day, like the tea seller and the folks from the police quarters. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until we pull the shutters down at night.
