Chaitanya Garments

Our shop, Chaitanya Garments, is at number 61 in Jaishankar Colony, which is part of Prithviraj Nagar. We are right across from Mansarovar on the New Sanganer Road side. It’s a residential area mostly, so we get a lot of families coming in. I started this place a few years back after working for someone else in the city. It’s nice to have my own spot now. We sell mostly everyday wear, things for kids and adults. The shop is on a bit of a busy road, so parking can be a pain sometimes. We have a small counter and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. My wife helps me with the bookkeeping in the evenings. We aren’t a big corporation, just a small local business trying to make a living. The walls are painted a light blue, though they probably need a new coat soon. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. Sometimes we get new styles in, and other times we stick to the basics that everyone likes. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day long. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part of the job. But we like the neighbors and the people in Prithviraj Nagar. It’s a good place to be. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day. The street lights outside have been flickering lately but it doesn't bother us much.
