Pawans Jaipur

We are located on the ground floor of Nakshtra Pride, which is at C- 35a on Lajpat Marg. C-Scheme is a nice part of town, so we get a lot of people walking by while they are out running errands. The shop isn't massive, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We started Pawans Jaipur because we wanted a place where we could show what we make. Most days involve unpacking new stock and trying to figure out where to put it all. We keep the front window clean so people can see inside, but the back room is where we keep all the extra boxes. It’s a bit cramped back there. I usually sit near the door to greet anyone who comes in. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It's just a small group of us who have known each other for years. Sometimes we have a slow afternoon, so we just sit and talk about the neighborhood. Other times, three people come in at once and we are all running around trying to help. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or pressure people. If someone likes something, they buy it. If not, they just have a look and move on. It’s a relaxed way to run a business. We like the light that comes into the shop in the mornings. It makes the whole place feel more cheerful even when we are busy.
