Brass Mine Exports

Brass Mine Exports is tucked away in Nagphani Lane No. 2, right near the Daulat Bagh Thana. If you’re looking for us, you’ll likely hear the sound of metal before you see the door. It’s a bit of a maze back here in these lanes. We do a lot of export work, but the setup is very local and down-to-earth. The workshop is always humming with activity. There is a smell of metal and polish that never really goes away, no matter how much we vent the place. I spend most of my time checking on the pieces and making sure the packing is done right. We deal with brass items, mostly decorative things that end up far away from here. It’s funny to think about where this stuff goes. The lane is quite narrow, so getting a vehicle in here for loading is always a challenge. We have to time it just right or we block the whole path. The workers have been with us for years and they know the rhythm of the place. It’s not a clean, white-walled office. It’s a real workshop with tools lying around and metal shavings on the floor. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon. It gets very hot in the summer, especially with the machines running. We aren't a huge corporation, just a group of people working hard in a small lane in Daulat Bagh.
