Brahampuri Steels Ltd is located at 172-F in the Jhotwara Industrial Area. If you know this part of the city, you know it is all about warehouses, trucks, and a lot of industrial activity. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it suits what we do just fine. Our spot at 172-F is a basic building with high ceilings and a lot of concrete. We have a small section partitioned off for the office work where we keep the ledgers and the telephone. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the trucks driving past on the unpaved parts of the road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have any air conditioning in the main area, just some big industrial fans that hum all day long. Most of the staff has been here for a long time, so we all know the routine. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is a small tea stall just outside the gate where we go for breaks. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just handle the steel orders as they come in and make sure the loading happens on time. It is a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the work and try to keep things moving. We usually close up early on Saturdays to get some rest before the next week starts.
