You can find us at No. 16-c, right across from the Gurudwara. We're also quite close to Bhagat Singh Park, which is a nice landmark if you're getting lost. Bihari Lal Jewellers has been part of this neighborhood for a good stretch of time. The shop isn't massive, but we fit a lot into the display cases. Most of our day is spent helping folks pick out things for their kids or checking the purity of an old piece of jewelry someone brought in from home. We don't have a big sales team in suits. It’s just us. The walk from the park is short, so we get people stopping in after their morning stroll sometimes. We handle repairs too, though some jobs take longer than others depending on how delicate the work is. Jewelry is a serious business around here, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We don't push people to buy things they don't need. If you want a simple gold coin or a heavy necklace, we show you what we have and let you decide. The street gets a bit noisy during the festivals because of the temple, but that’s just life in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down mostly.
